SmileTrain is the world's leading cleft charity offering free cleft lip and palate surgery and follow 
up care to poor, desperate children in developing countries.

Every child born with a cleft - anywhere in the world - should have the opportunity to live a full
and productive life.  SmileTrain provides free cleft surgery to hundreds of thousands of poor
children in developing countries.  

I have committed to help empower local doctors, medical staff and communities to solve the problem of unrepaired clefts for 32 children in 2013.  The SmileTrain organization works tirelessly to provide free cleft lip and palate surgery along with follow up care to poor, desperate children in developing countries.  $250 is enough to fund one surgery for each child.
